You may have heard the news: we’ve got new trophies!
As we continue to push our work "off the island" and share our stories with a wider audience, receiving this level of recognition is incredibly validating. We are thrilled to announce that we took home three awards from eight nominations for our work this past March.
The Highlights
Our productions made waves in two very different, but equally prestigious, arenas:
Wilds: This production swept up two honours at the Tasmanian Theatre Awards. A huge congratulations to Freyja Wild for winning Best Performer, and to Jenni Large, who received a Judges' Special Award for her exceptional choreography and creative leadership.
Nimble: Across the water at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Nimble picked up a weekly award for Best Circus and was a finalist for the Best Circus Overall title.
